If you need to remove an existing hardware-based license you will need to enable the registry to allow the removal. Download the attachments and follow the below instructions for removal.
Open the CodeMeter Control Center (Double-click on the icon in your Windows taskbar notification area/system tray (near the clock) or go to Start – Programs – CodeMeter – CodeMeter Control Center). Alternatively, in the Windows Taskbar, use the search option and look for "CodeMeter Control Center".
This will open a dialog similar to the one below:
Two files with a .txt extension were attached to this documentation.
Please download these two files and create a folder on your desktop named Hardware License Removal Files
and copy the two files with the .txt extension into that folder.
Rename the extension of both files to .reg so that you can run them. Most Email Clients will strip attachments of this type because it is an executable file.
Open the newly created folder named Hardware License Removal Files and double-click on the file named “Hardware_license_delete_enable.reg”

Select “Yes” to the following
message.
Select “Ok” to the following
message.

At the bottom right corner of your computer desktop, in your Windows taskbar notification area/system tray (near the clock), locate the CodeMeter Control icon.

Right-click on the CodeMeter icon and select the option “Quit”.
Go to Start – Programs – CodeMeter – CodeMeter Control Center). Alternatively, in the Windows Taskbar, use the search option and look for "CodeMeter Control Center". Open the CodeMeter Control Center Application.
This will open a dialog similar to the one below:
Select the “Remove License” button.
Select “Ok” to the following message.
You should see no active licenses in the license window area
as shown below.

Close the CodeMeter Control Center Application.
At the bottom right corner of your computer desktop, in your Windows taskbar notification area/system tray (near the clock), locate the CodeMeter Control icon.
Right-click on the CodeMeter icon and select the option “Quit”.
Open the folder on your desktop named Hardware License Removal Files and double-click on the file named “Hardware_license_delete_disable.reg”

Click “Yes” to the following message.

Click “Ok’ on the following message.
Once completed you can delete the Hardware License Removal Files folder. If you have any issues or need any assistance please let us know.
