If the relevant post processors were not installed during the OPTICAM Classic software installation process, then the post processors can be installed individually by following the steps below.

Note: If you have recently purchased a new post-processor and you do not have your original OPTICAM Classic installation data available, then you should have been sent information for downloading the specific post-processor that has been purchased. The instructions listed below for installing an individual post-processor will apply.

Using Windows Explorer, browse to the following path location of the OPTICAM Classic installation program data that was downloaded to your computer:

DVD_OPTICAM_CLASSIC_V8200_FULL\Postprocessors\wire (or similar, depending on the version)

Each of the folders highlighted above will contain a setup.exe file.

Launch the setup program by double-clicking on the setup.exe file.

Select “Next” or “Ok” for each page that follows until the installation of the post-processor is complete.

Once the post-processor has been installed, it is recommended that you run the OPTICAM Classic online update. Please contact support@optisolutionsusa.com if instructions are needed.

Next, launch either the ACCut PE or ACCut X00 post-processor from the OPTICAM Classic folder located on the Desktop of the computer.

Once the post-processor has been opened within the OPTICAM Classic software, browse to the Machining menu option, and then select the Configure Post Processor sub-menu option.

It is recommended that you set the Post Processor Options as show below and then Save As Default.
