Enabling Opticam for SW in a previous version of Solidworks

Opticam for Solidworks V2024
To change to the new version you just installed you will browse to the below folder and use the switcher application.

C:\ProgramData\Camtek\OPTICAM\2024.1sw\wire\
or
C:\ProgramData\Camtek\OPTICAM\2024.2\sw\wire\



Select your Opticam version you wish to use and which SOLIDWORKS version to use Opticam in. Click Switch.




Reopen your SOLIDWORKS and check add-ins to see if Opticam is recognized in SOLIDWORKS.


Method to Switch releases of Opticam for Solidworks Plug-in V2022 and prior 
 
1) Open Control Panel (This is the classic Windows View yours may very on version of windows installed)



2) Select "Uninstall a program"


3) Browse for the latest Opticam for SW20xx install.


4) Highlight and Select "Change"


5) Select your Opticam version you wish to use and which SOLIDWORKS version to use Opticam in. Click Switch.


6) Reopen your SOLIDWORKS and check add-ins to see if Opticam is recognized in SOLIDWORKS.
