Downloading and Installing Opticam for Solidworks
1) Choose your version required from the Website below.
Note - 20XX.1 is the first major release for the year and 20XX.2 is the second. There are monthly updates to each one. If you switch to the 20XX.2 release please make sure you are downloading the latest 20XX.2 release to update with.
Select Opticam from the Top Drop Down then the Version you need to download.
NOTES: Opticam for Solidworks is compatible with SOLIDWORKS 3 versions older than the Opticam for SOLIDWORKS version downloaded. Opticam for SW 2026 works in SW 2026-2024
2) Unzip the installation folder.
7) Run the OPTICAM_??.exe (?? represents the numerical version of the install)
8) Agree to a License Agreement to continue the installation.
9) After completion, you should be able to start SOLIDWORKS and Opticam will be available in your Add-ins.
If you are running multiple versions of SOLIDWORKS, you will need to manually enable Opticam for the version of SOLIDWORKS you want it to run inside of. Follow the link below to the Knowledge Base Article.
